Welcome to Gatothrash!
I’m Gabo, the artist, gamer, and guitarist behind it all. I’ve been creating for as long as I can remember. Whether it’s music or art, I’ve always needed a way to get ideas and energy out into the world. It’s how I make sense of things, and how I stay connected to what I love.
I started drawing as a kid, copying Pokémon and other characters straight off the TV. No lessons, no online tutorials, just hours of sketching, experimenting, and trying again until it felt right. Years later, I picked up a guitar because I couldn’t stop listening to Metallica. That obsession grew into a love for music in general, especially thrash metal and later for the complexity of progressive rock.
In college, everyone called me 'Gato' (which means cat in Spanish), so the name Gatothrash came naturally at that time. It's a part of who I am, and a part of the music that shaped me.
My art is a mix of everything that inspires me. Geek culture, comics, tattoo linework, street style, skulls, cute animals, and the kind of humor that doesn’t take itself too seriously. It’s loud, playful, and made with care.
This brand is my way of putting all of that together. It’s for people who love bold design, fun ideas, and a bit of chaos in their creativity. I want my work to make people smile, feel seen, and maybe even start a conversation.
